Terms of use

Use of the secure intake.

Effective September 8, 2026

Our role

Payment Legend is an application-preparation and referral service. We do not charge your business for our services; we are funded solely by referral compensation paid by participating payment processors. We are not a payment processor, acquiring bank, card network, lender, or approval authority. Submission does not guarantee placement, pricing, approval, or timing.

Your representations

You represent that you are authorized to act for the applicant, that submitted information is accurate and current, and that documents are authentic and lawfully provided. You will not upload malware, unrelated personal data, or material you are not authorized to disclose.

Partner review

Independent processors and banks apply their own underwriting standards and may request additional information, decline the file, or impose terms. Payment Legend does not control those decisions.

Website audit

The automated website audit is a screening aid based on publicly available pages. It can miss information and is not legal, regulatory, card-network, medical, or underwriting advice. A human reviewer and each prospective partner remain responsible for their assessment.

Availability and acceptable use

You may use the service only for legitimate merchant-account intake. Attempts to bypass access controls, scan internal systems, access another applicant’s data, or disrupt the service are prohibited.

Document retention

Files are temporary and may be deleted according to the retention schedule. Keep your own authoritative copies.

Payment Legend
